Once in a while, we get an email asking us for the solution for a particular game level. That got us thinking that maybe there could be others who wanted to get the answer keys, but were hesitant to mail us.
Are you a native French, Japanese, Spanish or Italian reader. Well, ReadIQ:English is now available in these language settings.
ReadIQ: English is now live in the Apple App Stores. We hope you like. It extends our family of edu-game apps.
BioIQ has been on Apple App Store and Google Play for many months. As part of our participation in Intel Ultimate Coder Contest, we took BioIQ to Microsoft 8 platform /devices, and we are happy to logically conclude the contest by making BioIQ available on Windows Store.
This is the last post as a part of the Intel Ultimate Challenger series. By the coming Friday, we will have submitted the build to the judges. This post is an analysis of the changes and the features of BioIQ.
Before we get to the analysis, here is a status update –
Welcome back from the breather we took last week for IDF2012. It has been a very busy 15 days, in which we -
1. Had a blast at IDF, demoing the current version of BioIQ on an UltraBook.
2. Had a call with the good folks at Microsoft in preparation to submitting BioIQ to the Win8 store.
3. Created the AppUP version of BioIQ
GeometrIQ (pronounced geometric) is now live in the Android Play and Apple App Stores. We hope you like. It extends our family of edu-game apps. Here is a screenshot of game play.
Last week and the week before, we got local storage and the structure of the UX in place. We are into week 4 and this week our focus was on testing for performance and certification validation, and figuring out monetization

Last week we sorted out the UI/UX (http://www.clefsoftware.com/blog/bioiq-ux-ultrabook). This week we worked on settling on an approach for local storage.
At the outset, our preference was to use SQLite. These features make it a good choice for our context. We have used it before, are familiar with it and we like it. We weren’t able to get it to work in our first attempt. We dug around and asked some friends.
We are in the thick of things as we complete week-1 of the Intel Ultimate coder challenge. In this week’s post we will focus on some of the UX decisions that we have made and the rationale behind them. We will also share some how-to for the developer in you, who may be thinking about your own apps and/or plans for building one on Windows 8-Ultrabook.
